For the past 14 years, I had a number of integral roles at what started as a small word-of-mouth jewelry line and has turned into an award winning collection of fine jewelry that has a permanent home in one of the most prestigious retail outlets in the world. My knowledge and passion of the jewelry industry has been shaped by years of experience in a private jewelry studio, on 47th street, at trade and gem shows and on the bench. Beyond my love for the process of creating beautiful pieces, I have a strong understanding of the market value and investment of metals and fine gemstones. Over the years, I have created long lasting relationships with clients and vendors and seek to continue shaping these connections with my future endeavors.

Fine Jewelry Project Manager, Gemstone Selector
-Worked directly with international gemstone dealers assisting with gemstone selection for custom projects and selected investment gemstones
-Proficient in measuring, calibrating, weighing and classifying gemstones
-Attended Tucson gem shows, JCK shows, Hong Kong Fine Jewelry Show; able to efficiently navigate various shows to connect with current gemstone and supply dealers and create new relationships with prospective vendors
-Efficiently and responsibly navigated 47th street Diamond District, responsible for delivering and receiving goods of high value from various stone setters, casters and jewelry finding houses; created a daily form and log to organize communication between designer, jeweler and 47th Street runner
-Managed bench jewelers and effectively communicated designs, strong understanding of jewelry process steps and able to make necessary changes during the process to ensure quality

-Merchandised jewelry collection based on the preferences and tastes of private clients
-Built long-lasting relationships with clients; tracked spending habits, individual preferences, dates of important and pivotal moments; created an extensive database to better assist in building jewelry collections for my clients
-Assisted in merchandising a collection of fine jewelry for Bergdorf Goodman; generated sales at Bergdorf Goodman by inviting private clients to our counter.
Jewelry Accounting and Appraisals
-Assisted in designing a database for the inventory of finished projects, projects in-the-works, gemstones and findings; linked database to client portfolios to track spending, preferences and private jewelry collections
-Formulated retail, wholesale and raw cost of inventoried pieces of jewelry and efficiently created invoices for sold pieces of merchandise
-Responsible for writing detailed descriptions of jewelry for appraisal purposes, measured stones and weighed metals, photographed appraised pieces and accurately created professional appraisals.
Trunk Shows, Studio Shows, Trade Shows
- Merchandised jewelry for trunk shows based on the prospective audience and setting
-Managed staff responsible for ordering flowers, set up of snacks and cocktails for studio shows
-Organized travel arrangements, hotel reservations, trade show forms and daily schedule
-Created slideshows and speeches for Deirdre Featherstone for various appearances at AGTA Spectrum Awards, WJA, JCK, Van Cleef L’ecole, Platinum Guild and other events
Photography, Social Media , Web design
-Assisted with photography of jewelry pieces and effectively used Adobe Photoshop to create white backgrounds for web content
-Managed social media accounts, created campaigns, invitations for events and shows, email blasts and other web content
-Photographed events, stages of projects and finished jewelry pieces to create bound books for clients and the jewelry studio. Created promotional material, web content and blog posts with photography.
